Two rappers gunned down — on the east coast and west coast

🔝The murder of Tripple Beanz in Newark

Two rising young rappers were shot dead over the weekend in separate murders in New Jersey and California.

Tripple Beanz, 29, was gunned down in broad daylight in Newark, and Lil Yase, 25, was killed in the San Francisco Bay area.

Tripple Beanz, whose real name was Corey Thompson, was walking to his parked car on Friday when two masked men jumped out of an SUV and opened fire.

The gunmen fired several times as Thompson rolled in the street. One of the shooters fired a final bullet into the rapper’s head at close range before running off.

The murder was recorded on shocking surveillance footage obtained by the New York Post.

The victim was described as “a superstar in the making” by his producer. “More importantly he had family here and was genuinely trying to change his life around.”

LIL YASE VICTIM OF MYSTERIOUS SHOOTING

The ‘Top Dog’ rapper Lil Yase — real name Mark Antonyyo Alexander — was with his crew in a studio in Marin County north of San Francisco on Friday night when he left on his own and said he would be back soon.

Two hours later, it was reported he had been shot dead in the East Bay Area.

His friends and colleagues were “dumbfounded” by the incident. Yase, who often rapped about guns and shootings, “had no known enemies” and “no beef with anyone anywhere,” they said.

Yase’s label, Highway 420 Productions, wrote in an Instagram tribute Saturday, “Yase loved his fans, he worked every day for y’all.”

The rap blog ‘The Thizzler’ posted, “Yase was a legend in the Bay Area and held it down for San Francisco.”
